Founder of ‘I Fucking Love Science’ Considered $30M Page Sale Over Trolls

Since time immemorial, internet trolls have been spewing bile online at anything and everything; in the process of ruining the internet for everybody else, their fuckery almost drove ‘I fucking love science’ Facebook page creator Elise Andrew to sell out of the site.
Andrew, who started the page in 2012, took to Twitter to write about her mental illness, and how baseless personal attacks on her and ‘I fucking love science’ drove her to consider the sale.

Regardless of how much money that is – and it is a lot of money – Andrew is still at the helm of the page delivering sciencey goodness daily.

The 24-year-old page admin, and a normal human being undeserving of such trash, started the page as a personal project with the intention of sharing the latest in science and technology; seemingly for just being a successful *gasp* woman! online, her and the page have been hung out to dry.

The page, which boasts over 22 million likes, posts content ranging from “Why Claw Machines Are Rigged” (called it!) to a study suggesting evolution may work in reverse for some species. If the mindless attacks on social media page admins are anything to go by, that study may hold some truth.
If you think you might be experiencing a mental health issue, visit BeyondBlue or give them a call on 1300 22 4636.
