Crimson-haired songstress and gurl with pipes Florence Welch performed without her Machine on Friday night, as a video of the well boozed singer covering Daft Punk‘s Get Lucky has just emerged.
Taking to the intimate stage in London while flouncing about with a tequila shot, Welch blessed Daft Punk’s hit with a woeful karaoke-worthy rendition, all but ruining the song while having a fantastic time getting pissed on stage. Look, she’s only human. Flo can’t uphold that feisty, fierce redhead persona she so confidently carries about every second of the day; drunken covers are stitched in to the age-old fabric of a successful muso’s life.
After trying to werk the song with a deep harmony signature of her Lungs classics, but failing pretty hard, Welch downed a shot, threw the glass over her shoulder, abandoned Get Lucky and descended in to her version of In The Way of Control by The Gossip. The woman is a force to be reckoned with.
