News Ticketing is the brand behind fast growing ticketing organisations – Moshtix and Foxtix – which have an outstanding reputation in the music and festival market as well as providing the ticketing for some of Australia’s most iconic events such as the Splendour in the Grass and the Sydney Royal Easter Show. 
To complement their team and help deliver their marketing, client services and product requirements, they are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator (SYD) who is highly organised, digitally switched on, and has a passion for the music/entertainment industry. Cha-ching. 
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role will be responsible for all digital communication channels and product content maintenance, marketing communications support, campaign management, and analytics & performance reporting. AAA Backstage are all about the Muzaaaak. That’s music, people, said in the most fabulous of ways! They are an independent online resource showcasing local music and culture in Australia as well as national and international music news, events and interviews. They are on the hunt for a Music Communications Intern, a role for those interested and invested in the Australian Music Industry, and located in Brisbane
Prepare yourself because this sounds horrible – you will be responsible for a couple CD reviews a week, assist in the running of all social media platforms, updating the website including posting daily press, interviews and reviews etc. You’ll be conducting interviews with artists that stumble through Brisvegas, creating and scheduling the weekly newsletter, oh and attending music related events representing AAA Backstage.

Gaga Music is a Melbourne-based music copyright company administering works by artists – including The Black Keys, Toro Y Moi, Holly Throsby and The Drunk Mums – and they work very closely with the local film/TV industry pitching unique, easily cleared copyrights. They are looking for a Licensing Manager (SYD) to represent their kick-ass catalogue from the Sydney office. 
Working closely with the Melbournites, the role involves seeking out and handling licensing opportunities, generating new business within the film, TV & advertising industries and matching the catalogue to a wide range of briefs. Gaga Music represents a growing number of renowned international catalogues; this role will require maintaining strong relationships with these partners & ensuring you’re on top of all new music coming through.. Needless to say, you need to love colour-coordinated tabs and putting things in alphabetical order. Fact.

2013 seems to be a big year for many, including the not-so-little guys at Eastside Radio, who are celebrating their 30th Anniversary. **APPLAUSE** 
Of course the only way to celebrate is to throw one dang of a parteh, or in music land, put on Global Rhythms – Eastside Radio’s World Music Festival. Held annually it showcases the best in local and international World Music artists and they are currently seeking an experienced person to fulfil the role of an Events and Fundraising Manager (SYD) for the 2013 festival.

The successful candidate will have already worked in either/both an Events Management and Fundraising sector and be currently looking for something with more responsibility. 

Your main drags will be generating revenue to meet financial/sponsorship targets, raise profile to increase community exposure and listenership, implement marketing and social media strategies, running this puppy from start to finish, coordinating the live broadcast, so on and so forth.
