Extremely Horny New Research Shows That The T-Rex Was A Sensational Root

I pledge to only bring you inspiring science stories on a Friday, to ease you into a supremely chill and enjoyable weekend. Here’s your dose of positive reinforcement today: turns out that the tyrannosaurus rex could fuck real good and real sensual.

According to new research from scientists, the legendary lizard wasn’t just a monstrous eating machine. Turns out the T-rex also had a supremely sensitive snout – as sensitive as human fingertips. Researchers say they used that snout to “explore their surroundings, build nests, and carefully pick up fragile eggs and baby offspring.”

What else did they use that snout for? To fuck. To fuck real nice. Experts believe that tyrannosaurs rubbed their sensitive noses together as a kind of foreplay. “In courtship, tyrannosaurids might have rubbed their sensitive faces together as a vital part of pre-copulatory play,” says the report, published in the journal Scientific Reports.
Scientists believe that the armour-like surface of the snout was penetrated by numerous small nerve endings, which basically turned the tyrannosaur face into a third hand – and obviously turning the animal into an incredible fuck machine. A similar arrangement is fond on the head and faces of modern crocodiles.
Co-author Jayc Sedlmayr, of Louisiana State University, said: “Our finding of a complex sensory web is especially interesting because it is derived from the trigeminal nerve which has an extraordinary evolutionary history of developing into wildly different ‘sixth senses’ in different vertebrates.”

That is obviously science-speak for “Hell yeah – the super-sensitive bumps on the noggin of these massive reptiles made them into thirsty love machines”.
There you go, team. Not just a huge monstrous lizard – but also a generous and sensitive lover. There’s hope for you yet.
