Don’t Panic, But The World Is Running Out Of Prosecco

USA Today have reported that there will soon be a global shortage of Prosecco, the delightful and delicious Italian bubbly.
Sales of the bubbles are up 27%, but sadly, there was a bad harvest from too much rainfall last season in the Prosecco-growing areas of Italy.
Prosecco manufacturers have been forced to bottle 150,000 hectolitres of our favourite bubbles from their pre-harvest – stock that is usually kept for later sale, so as not to flood the market.
Roberto Cremonese, the export manager of the prosecco manufacturer Bisol said,
“Last year’s harvest was very poor, and down by up to 50% in some parts, so there is a very real possibility of a global shortage.”
In other news: life is not worth living, and nothing that is good can stay. BRB crying.
