Cops Make Record-Breaking Ice Bust With $900M Seizure In Victoria

The Australian Federal Police have made the largest ever seizure of ice in the nation’s history – pulling in a frankly quite large 903 kilograms of the stuff, valued at an estimated $900 million. That’s equivalent to about 9 million individual hits, if you needed more of a vision.

The join operation between the AFP and Victoria Police, was found stuffed between floorboards in a shipment headed to Melbourne.
Two men have been charged in relation to the massive haul. Just one week ago, the AFP arrested three Vietnamese nationals and seized 300kg of ice hidden in a shipment of metal gates.
A recent study of wastewater found that methylamphetamine is the most consumed illicit drug in Australia.
More details will be outlined in a press conference this morning.
