Chester Bennington’s wife has shared a home video recorded a day before the Linkin Park frontman tragically took his own life, raising awareness of the often indiscernible nature of mental illness.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, Talinda Bennington posted the video of a laughing, cheerful Chester and his family, playing a game in which they taste jelly beans.
In her tweet Talinda comments:
My next tweet is the most personal tweet I have ever done. I’m showing this so that you know that depression doesn’t have a face or a mood.
This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hrs b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him. #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud
Talinda has incredibly bravely made mental health stigma and awareness the fore of her social media presence since her husband’s passing in July, sharing hers and other stories to a growing community of supporters and campaigners.
Keep sharing your stories❤️ This is how we end the stigma & shame. #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud https://t.co/rlgnyjYDue
