Cancer Fraudster Belle Gibson Found Guilty Of “Most But Not All” Allegations

The horrendous, out-of-control train that is Belle Gibson‘s cancer fraud tale has nearly screeched to its inevitable end.

The disgraced wellness blogger has been found guilty for most but not all claims made by Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV), with Federal Court Justice Debra Mortimer stating that she may have been under “some kind of delusion” when she claimed to have brain cancer.

Gibson made a small fortune through her blog, cookbook and wellness app ‘The Whole Pantry‘, based on claims she had cured her non-existent brain cancer through nutrition and alternative therapies.

“She may have had other psychological or psychiatric issues,”
said Justice Mortimer.

She’s facing personal fines of up to $220,000, and her company could be fined up to $1.1 million.

Penalties will be handing out a later date – hopefully at a court hearing Gibson actually attends (she missed this, and every other one so far).

The ruling comes literally the same day as the Herald Sun exposed her for spruiking more ridiculous diets in Facebook groups.
