HBO is preparing to march into the great unknown with the impending arrival of Game of Thrones sixth season. The show, for the first time, will be marching ahead without the lifeline of a book behind it; carving its own narrative ahead of the progress of the Song of Ice and Fire novels, and cutting the umbilical cord of about half the show’s viewership.
To that end, the cable giant has dropped the first teaser for season six, and it serves as almost a greatest hits of murders and bloodshed.

But that ominous voiceover tho. That confirms what we all know to be true.
That for the first time in the series’ history, we all have no freaking idea what’s going to happen.
Game of Thrones season six will hit screens worldwide in April.
