Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar just opened the BET Awards in the US with a surprise performance, and everyone is losing their goddamn mind. Yes, everyone.
They performed ‘Freedom’ from Bey’s 2016 album ‘Lemonade’, and it’s just damn fire. And water – which the pair violently splash around in during the song.
The performance started with Bey’s dancers walking through the audience while a speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. played over the speakers.
