It’s an unfortunate truth that one can’t spell “Regina George” without “Gen George“, Australian businesswoman and founder of the incredibly successful employment-finding startup, OneShift – whose entrepreneurial spirit thankfully bares no resemblance to Mean Girls‘ femme fatale – aside from a similar level of Fierce imbued deeply within.

24-year-old, Sydney-based Gen George may well be Gen Y’s model citizen: at the age of 23, George’s startup—which connects employers and job-seekers looking for casual work—last year received a $5 million investment before launching across the pond in New Zealand.

Let me repeat that age for you. Twenty. Three.

Launching an entrepreneurial career like George’s and leading a rapidly-progressing company is no simple task; resisting the urge to be bossy, and instead being a straight up Boss is undoubtedly essential to success. As always, W.W.B.D:

Pedestrian picked the brains of Gen George about industry tips, career advice and kicking goals—specifically for the entrepreneurial being within you who’s been chafing at the bit to bring a startup to life. Take notes:
