Barron Trump Reportedly Thought Someone Had Actually Cut His Dad’s Head Off

A pretty wild report claims that Barron Trump, the 11-year-old son of none other than U.S. President Donald Trump, thought the image of Kathy Griffin holding his dad’s decapitated noggin was the real thing – and reacted like most 11-year-olds would, given a visualisation of their father’s gory death.

According to TMZ, “family sources” claim the kid was watching television when the massively publicised image popped up. As impressionable children are wont to do, he was apparently freaked the hell out, and called out for his ma Melania Trump.

That’s just one totally unverified account, but Donald himself has spoken out about the issue. He took to Twitter (after that goddamned “covfefe” disaster) to say the comedian’s edgy photoshoot went a lil’ too far.

A fair few people have called BS on the whole saga, claiming the entire story was fabricated as a purely political move.

The following jokes suggest as much, too.

FWIW, the backlash to Griffin has been pretty major, with CNN canning her long-standing role as host of their New Year’s Eve coverage. She apologised profusely over the whole thing, but we guess you have to expect this kind of reaction when you imagine the bloody death of the Commander in Chief.
