In news as unsurprising as Anthony Callea’s admission he was gay, Barack Obama has been named Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” for 2008.
Shepard Fairey’s iconic artwork of Obama’s visage adorns the cover but of more interest is an Obama photo set from 1980.
As Time explains: “In 1980, when Obama was a freshman at Occidental College in Los Angeles, he was approached by an aspiring photographer named Lisa Jack, who asked him if he would be willing to pose for some black and white photographs that she could use in her portfolio.
Ocular proof that he’s a stoner in the above shot? Probably not, but it’d be funny.
