Here’s Footage Of A Cow Shitting On An Adelaide Journo’s Head

Journalism. It’s a tough gig at the best of times. Sometimes a tip bears fruit and you score the exclusive of a lifetime. And sometimes you get sent to milk livestock and cop nothing but a fountain of shit in return.

7 News Adelaide journo Andrew Hayes found that out the hard way yesterday while covering the Royal Adelaide Show while participating in something called a “Celebrity Milk-Off,” which frankly should’ve been an immediately red flag. But nonetheless.

Being assigned a cow by the name of Carmel, Hayes set up for his tilt at the teat normally. But little did he know that apparently Carmel had some finely-held views on the role of legacy media, and chose that most opportune of moments to express her views quite clearly by opening up the anoos and letting rip.

Right onto old mate’s head.

Straight shot.

Boom.

Could not have hit him better if he tried. My goodness. Absolute bullseye.

Full credit to him, Hayes has taken the whole thing in absolute stride, owning up to the snafu on social media.

Write this down, kids: On the outside journalism might seem glamorous, but the reality is you’ve gotta wade through a fair amount of shit.

That’s it. That’s how I’m ending this article. With that flimsy elegy.

It’s Friday.

That’s the best you’re gonna get.

Deal with it.
