AC/DC Drummer Pleads Guilty To Threatening To Kill Someone

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has last-minute changed his plea on the charges of threatening to kill, and drug possession. Fickle lil rockstar.

Rudd was originally being charged with attempting to procure murder, but this charge was dropped when prosecutors did not have enough evidence to proceed.

According to the ABC, the tale goes like this: the drummer allegedly threatened a contractor and his daughter at his waterfront mansion in Taurunga. Court documents also said police also found 0.71 grams of methamphetamine and 130 grams of cannabis when they raided the property.

Previously the drummer had denied all allegations, but in his first day of court, surprised the courtroom with a guilty plea.

Due to the change of plea, Judge Robert Woolff adjourned the court immediately, and extended Rudd’s bail until June.

Unlike his previous clashes with press outside courtrooms, Rudd was a very good boy and silently walked past reporters and cameras without a single expletive or middle finger in the air.
