An A$AP Rocky fan was arrested at the Swedish Embassy in Washington on Tuesday after threatening to blow up the building following Rocky’s arrest.

If you haven’t been following the whole A$AP Rocky situation, let me give you the CliffsNotes.
Basically, A$AP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) was arrested in Stockholm for his alleged involvement in a street fight. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West asked Donald Trump to help him out. Then, Trump called the Swedish PM, who said he wasn’t getting involved. So obviously, the leader of the free world has basically cancelled Sweden and is calling for Americans to boycott the nation.
Cooked, huh?

But it gets worse because Rebecca Kanter, a diehard A$AP Rocky fan has been arrested in Washington after allegedly threatening the Swedish Embassy on two separate occasions.
According to the affidavit, Kanter allegedly poured liquid from a Coca Cola bottle in the entrance of the building before declaring that she was “going to blow this motherfucker up.” Obviously, the US Secret Services alerted law enforcement to be on the lookout for her following the encounter, but she was not found.
The following afternoon on July 23, Rebecca returned to the Swedish Embassy in Washington where she passed a security clearance and entered the building. Not sure how nobody noticed the crazy woman who threatened to blow up the building yesterday, but that’s another story.
She allegedly screamed and cursed at visitors before kicking over a teepee and a coffee table. Security ordered Kanter to leave the premises, but instead, she decided to take a seat on the floor of the building and telling staff to “call the police” because she’s “not leaving”.
Obviously, police arrested her and she was forced to leave, but the dedicated Rocky supporter didn’t stop there.
She took to social media to express her frustration that she didn’t become a viral internet sensation.
“Why isn’t it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the World Bank, that I vandalized the IMF,” she winged. “Why aren’t I getting press for A$AP?”
I’m not sure if she’s just desperate for internet virality or if she’s just a huge A$AP Rocky supporter, but either way, she probably shouldn’t threaten to blow anything up. Especially not the Swedish Embassy.
Kanter’s official charges include destruction of property, refusing to depart a foreign embassy and unlawful entry. Apparently, she’s not getting charged for literally threatening to blow up a building.
A$AP Rocky will remain in custody in Sweden until his trial, as per Swedish law.
As for Kanter, she’ll likely cop some pretty hefty penalties. She has been released on bail but has been ordered to stay far away from the Swedish Embassy (probably a good idea, Bec). A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 31.
