It Looks Like A$AP Rocky Ghosted Trump After His Guilty Verdict & Ouch, That’s Gotta Hurt

American rapper A$AP Rocky was found guilty of assault in Sweden last week after a long and public campaign to be released on bail. If you’ve been following the story, you’d be aware that President Donald Trump got in on the action and took to Twitter to try to help. But now Trump is a little butt hurt because A$AP Rocky hasn’t issued a public thank you, and is allegedly dodging his calls. Ouch.

Welcome to 2019. The reality star president just got ghosted by a rapper who he was asked to help by Kayne West and Kim Kardashian, who are weirdly friends with the president.

Honestly, at this point I’m pretty convinced we’re living in a simulation. The world can’t be this fucked. We’re basically living in a real life version of The Sims when you put your characters in the pool then delete the ladder.

But yes, Trump wants a thank you from A$AP Rocky, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to get it.

Rocky was convicted last week but will not serve jail time for the assault charges. He’s free to leave Sweden and head back to the US, but apparently thanking Trump, or even returning his calls isn’t at the top of his priorities.

His manager, John Ehmann allegedly said that “If a serial killer gets Rocky out of jail, I would have no problem saying thank you to the serial killer,” however, he refused to verify the comments when later questioned.

The current reason why Rocky isn’t returning ol’ Don’s calls is apparently because he’s tired and needs to rest. But he’s been a free man since August 2, so it seems like he’s just not that into Trump if you ask me.

He took to Instagram to thank “fans, friends and anyone across the globe who supported [him]” but Trump didn’t get his own 3-part Instagram story and he’s NOT happy about it.

Trump allies Darrell Scott and Kareem Lanier allegedly helped bring Rocky’s case to Trump’s attention, according to Yahoo News. The White House would allegedly get involved on the condition that the rapper would issue a public thank you upon release.

“The White House didn’t ask for anything. There were no conditions attached, but my condition and Kareem’s condition was that all I’m asking for you guys to do is say thank you,” Scott recalled a conversation with Rocky’s management.

So it looks like A$AP Rocky might’ve gone back on his word, but I’m unsure you could call Trump’s involvement “helping”. Honestly, the only thing Trump seemed to do was make himself look like a fool in front of the Swedish Prime Minister.

Is the President of The United States getting ghosted by a rapper the greatest thing to ever happen? Well yeah, probably.
