A WWE-Style Brawl In Taiwan’s Parliament Has Got Twitter Ready To Rumble

It’s not entirely clear what quirk of the culture in Taiwan allows for legitimate physical melees to break out in Parliament on the reg, but quite frankly, who cares: anywhere that encourages their politicians to duke it out, WWE-style has got to get points for panache, at least.
The most recent brawl among Taiwan’s elected representatives is apparently over an infrastructure spending plan, which both major parties apparently feel very strongly about.

Thursday’s fight had everything: choke-holds, chair-throwing, and water balloons, which seems to indicate that at least some members of parliament had the foresight to actually bring along their weapons of choice.
Obviously, Twitter is very much here for this shit.

May the best party win.
