Baby Shark is by far the worst thing to happen to children’s entertainment ever. I don’t have a kid, I rarely interact with children at all, but somehow this fucking song is stuck in my head at least once a week.
But surely it can’t get worse, right? WRONG.
Parody Youtuber Maestro Zlikos, real name Chaouch Zakaria, just made a Trump rendition of the infamous track. The video includes his infamous “build a wall” line and a cameo from none other than Kim Jong Un riding a shark, Huffpost reports.
Maestro Zlikos’ channel boasts 1.7 million subscribers, mostly for his Trump Sings and Obama Sings series’. I’m not sure what drives somebody to make these cooked covers, but you’ve gotta appreciate the time and effort it must take to perfect such an art.
In less than 24 hours the video has already amassed a whopping 30,000 views, so clearly there’s a market for this stuff.
Baby Shark isn’t the only song to be Trump-ified, you can also listen to the leader of the free world singing Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, Dua Lipa’s New Rules and many other tracks.
My personal favourite is this horrifying Rick Astley cover that will absolutely give me nightmares until the end of time.
