WATCH: Prince & Kendrick Lamar Jammin’ On Stage Together Is Legit Insane

In memory of Prince after his recent shock passing, The Prince Museum are constantly posting incredible videos of him on stage with some of the biggest names in music, past and present.
Recently, they’ve posted this footage from October 2014. It’s from a Yahoo live-stream of a sponsored record release party to celebrate his two new albums, ‘Art Official Age’ and ‘PlectrumElectrum‘, during which Prince brings Kendrick Lamar on stage to jam with him.
Kendrick performs ‘What’s My Name’, a rarity from 1998’s Crystal Ball box set.
Despite being a huge influence for many rap and hip hop artists, Prince was vocal about not being a fan of rap music – but he seems to be very much enjoying Kendrick dropping freestyle verses in collaboration with his band, 3rdEyeGirl.
It’s really quite something – watch below:
If you’re still struggling with the loss of one of the greatest artists of our time, then a visit to The Prince Museum on Facebook will be of great comfort to you. Their video section is a good time, no matter how sad you are.
