The latest from the OK Go meme factory is this Samsung-sponsored (???) clip for “Last Leaf”. Directed by Nadeem Mazen and Ali Mohammad and animated by Geoff McFetridge, the clip features laser cut toast, meticulous stop motion work and confirmation that OK Go’s jams are but a vehicle for Youtube hits and not much else. Kinda sad actually. Like their music, the video is safely middling (comparative to their previous work) and they only have themselves, their treadmills and their one-take mastery to blame for our unrealistic expectations.
