As Kanye West receives psychiatric treatment for what his doctor told 911 dispatchers was a ‘temporary psychotic episode’, his close friend John Legend says he was with Kim Kardashian prior to the incident and was “concerned about what he saw”.
“We were with Kim actually, you know, right before all of that,” said Legend. “I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he’s getting some rest and some time to figure things out.”

Legend and West have been mates for quite a while – they met in 2001, and John was signed to Kanye’s label after sing hooks on some of his tracks. Their wives Chrissy Teigen and Kim Kardashian are also close.
