WATCH: Craig David Gives Us Taste Of Comeback Flava With Bieber Cover

It’s been far too long between doses of the silky-smooth vocal stylings of Craig David, whose 2000 debut ‘Born to Do It’ remains a shining example of some of the best R&B bangers of the millennium (too far? This writer doesn’t think so). 

He’s been gunning for a comeback in recent months, and went on the UK‘s BBC Radio 1 this week to perform a new song called “When The Bassline Drops” live.
It was, IMO, not up to his usual standards, but luckily he followed up with a cover of the Biebs‘ recent banger “Love Yourself” and knocked it out of the park – a bloody smart step towards spawning a new generation of Davidsons (note: unofficial name of his fan base).
The internet has responded with shouts of ‘He’s back! Craig’s bloody back!’, and the video had racked up just under 1.2 million views at the time of writing.
