As you should be well aware there are just TWO WEEKS LEFT til Ray-Ban and Pedestrian close entries to our inaugural photography awards. Photos can be submitted in one of four categories: Music, Fashion, Social and Mobile and in addition to landing the title of Ray-Ban and Pedestrian Photographer of the Year (and immense kudos), the major prize winner will enjoy 5 nights accommodation at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas including limo transfer to and from the airport, VIP entry to Nikki beach day club and a Maverick helicopter ride out to the Grand Canyon. There are also individual category prizes of Ray-Ban packs and professional camera equipment valued at more than $3,000 each. To be eligible to enter you simply need to submit a photograph that you’ve shot within the past 12 months into one of the four categories. Check the terms and conditions for full details.
Entries for submissions are open til 5pm on Thursday the 27th of October 2011. That’s two weeks. All submissions will be moderated with shortlisted entries uploaded and available for public voting that will be open from the 30th of October – 5pm Thusday the 5th of December 2011. The five highest voted images from each category will make up the finalists with the overall winner being selected by our judging panel including:

Elizabeth Ann Macgregor (Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney)
Jamie Huckbody (Former Editor in Chief of Harpers Bazaar Australia)
Tony Mott (Iconic Australian music photographer)
Alyssa Sutherland (Top Australian model and actress)
Stevie Dance (Stylist and former editor of Russh)
Andrea Klarin (French photographer who’s shot the likes of Grace Jones and Gaga and regularly shoots for Vogue across the world)
