Ray-Ban and Pedestrian are awarding the greatest photos of 2011 with the Ray-Ban Photography Awards. From epic social snaps, inspiring fashion photography, once in a lifetime music moments and the masterpiece you just snapped on your mobile, photos can be submitted into one of four distinct categories: Music, Fashion, Social and Mobile. All photos submitted are in the running to be crowned the 2011 Ray-Ban Photo of the Year and win a VIP trip for two to Las Vegas. There are also prizes for individual category winners including Ray-Ban packs and camera equipment worth more than $3,000 each.
To enter simply submit a photograph you’ve shot within the past 12 months into one of the four categories. Check the terms and conditions for the full details.
Entries for submissions are open till 5pm on Thursday the 27th October 2011. All submissions will be moderated with shortlisted entries uploaded and available for public voting that will be open from the 30th October – 5pm the 5th of December 2011. The 5 highest voted images from each category will make up the finalists with the overall winner being selected by our judging panel including:

Jamie Huckbody (Former Editor in Chief of Harpers Bazaar Australia)
Tony Mott (Iconic Australian music photographer)
Alyssa Sutherland (Top Australian model and actress)
Stevie Dance (Stylist and former editor of Russh)
Andrea Klarin (French photographer who’s shot the likes of Grace Jones and Gaga and regularly shoots for Vogue across the world)
Winners will be announced at the wrap party and exhibition opening on Wednesday the 14th December 2011.
