As Starboy turns 3 years old, it apears as though The Weeknd is set to release new music. According to new reports, the 3-time Grammy-winner has registered a new track title that may be a blatant reference to his 2017 relationship with Selena Gomez. Oh gosh, I think I just peed a little. Let’s divulge…

According to The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (AKA ASCAP), The Weeknd has registered the song-title ‘Like Selena’.

This news comes after the Canadian singer rejoined Instagram, posting a mysterious flick alongside the caption “the fall starts tomorrow night.” His ‘gram bio now reads “loading…”

He also posted an Instagram Story, alongside the caption “tomorrow night we start again.” My God, so much cryptic messaging – my impatient ass can’t handle this.

We’re now left with a lot of questions: is this blurry black-and-white flick the new album cover? How will this album relate to ‘falling’ and ‘starting again’? Will the track ‘Like Selena’ be included in this new body of work? Lana Del Rey has featured on his past two albums – will she appear again? Okay, my brain hurts. I’ll stop.

Judging by aesthetics, it seems as though The Weeknd will channel his My Dear Melancholy EP, but hey, who’s to know? As always, we’ll keep you posted as soon as the damn tea is poured… which looks like it’ll be tomorrow. EEEEK.
