The Killers Just Dropped Their First New Tune Since 2012 & It’s A Banger

Strap yourselves in folks, because you’re all on board the express train running straight to BangerTown.

The Killers have enjoyed a few years of rest and recharging ever since dropping their last studio album, ‘Battle Born,’ back in 2012.
Aside from a couple of compilation albums and the odd Christmas single here and there, the ensuing years have been largely quiet on the recording front for the extremely big and good Las Vegas group.
As of today, consider the hiatus well and truly over.
The band has dropped their first single in 5 years with the release of ‘The Man,’ which is serving as the first tune off their upcoming album ‘Wonderful Wonderful.’
The tune is a full-on, ear-worming, extremely danceable number that departs ever-so-slightly from their stadium rock megahits of yore.
Get squarely around it via ye olde’ embed below.

If you feel compelled to drop some bones on that badboy, the single is available now via all your usual digital music and streaming outlets. Including Napster which, would you believe, still exists.
The band has a slew of dates in the US and Europe lined up, and we know that they’re almost certainly going to make a flying visit to Melbourne for an appearance at this year’s AFL Grand Final.
But as for when we’ll see the group heading our way for a fully fledged Australian tour, question marks still abound.
However with a new single and new album on the way, that’s now a question of when, not if.
