Well, shit. The news cycle had barely recovered from Taylor Swift pulling Lisa Kudrow on stage to perform ‘Smelly Cat’ when she did it again, bringing Avril Lavigne up during a San Diego show to perform ‘Complicated’, aka the soundtrack of your childhood, aka, we are not dealing very well with our feelings at this moment.
Swift thanked Lavigne on Twitter after the show, as everyone else picked themselves off the floor. The high calibre of guests raises the question of who the goddamn hell Taylor will bring on stage with her next, or for that matter, when she’s in Australia later in the year.
