Tame Impala Headline Changing Lanes Festival


Following closely in the footsteps of St Jerome’s annual namesake festival comes the very first Changing Lanes Festival that’s heading to the Sydney suburb of Newtown this September.

Presented by our friends at FBi 94.5fm as part of the 2010 Sydney Fringe Festival (10 -26 September), Changing Lanes will yield a smorgasbord of art, music and Newtown itself. On Sunday 19 September, in Eliza St, Newtown you can catch an impressive line-up of street artists, musicians and DJs including:

Tame Impala, Ernest Ellis, Bridezilla, Itch-e and Scratch-e, Spit Syndicate, Cabins, Thundamentals, Bagraiders (DJ set), Richard In Your Mind (solo set), Jinja Safari, Purple Sneakers (DJ set), Hoops, Red Riders (DJ set), Mark Murphy, Daily Meds, Sveta, Joyride, Step Panther, Spruce Lee, True Vibenation, Levins, Captain Franco, Girlthing DJ’s, Gay Bash DJ’s, Count Doyle, Street artists SMC3, Ears, Max Berry, Gem Lark and Vars, Jingle Jangle, Alex Pye, Dell, Milly Von III, Mrs. Bishop.

Delicious international food, vintage and second-hand fashion market, vinyl records and bike stalls will also be happening throughout the day.

Tickets are super cheap and with the first release already having sold out, get yourself on to FBi website or Moshtic and grab a few to hail the start of the warmer months.
