ICYMI: The Fkn Huge Laneway Lineup Is Here Feat. Tame Impala & Nick Murphy

The flippin’ *massive* lineup for the 2017 Laneway Festival has been birthed unto us all from the exceedingly generous mob at St. Jerome, and boy howdy if you weren’t already jazzed as fk for summer, you sure as shit will be after wrapping yr eyeballs around this.

The 2017 iteration, which is being brought forward by a few weeks into the fiery pits of late January/early February next year, is arguably Australia’s premiere touring festival nowadays, and this year’s lineup is no exception to that.

But who! Who is playing! The legends at Laneway released a dope-as-hell 360-degree Facebook video to accompany this morning’s announcement, with all the artists “hidden” within it.

There’s a distinctly Aussie flavour getting about in 2017, with the whole shebang being fronted up by fuzzlords Tame Impala, who will headline alongside the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy.

On the international front, English indie dreamers Glass Animals will be making the trip out to the colonies, alongside fellow countryman/electronic whiz/neuroscientist Floating Points.

Other not-from-heres include a return visit by the Kathleen Hanna-fronted The Julie Ruin, innovative DJ and producer Mr. Carmack, the UK’s Tourist, and US MC Clams Casino.

But as far as a little local flavour is concerned, the bill is stacked. How about Camp Cope, or Luca Brasi, or A.B. Original, or Ecca Vandal, or Gang of Youths, or even festival mainstays Jagwar Ma?

Trust us, you’re not gonna want to sleep on tickets for this bad boy. It is HOT SHIT.
