After deflecting our attention with Lennon-esque movie soundtracks and throbbing runway techno, the first taste of LCD Soundsystem’s third as-yet-untitled studio album is finally here.
The track is called “Drunk Girls” and as the name might suggest it’s a little ditty about umm…drunk girls. We’ve only amassed a few listens but still find it strange that Sound Of Silver’s stately introspection should be followed by a song about inebriated females. What do you think? Worth the wait?
The as yet titled LCD Soundsystem album drops May 17th on DFA and Parlophone.
