Following the recent Cher debacle (deftly nullified by this legend) Adelaide finally has something to cheer about. The promoters behind Splendour In The Grass have today announced a bill-sharing sister event in the City of Churches dubbed Spin Off. The Frasier to Splendour’s Cheers (or the Joey to Splendour’s Friends? We hope not) the event will be a joint venture between Splendour co-promoter Paul Piticco and Adelaide touring company 5/4 Entertainment. It all takes place on July 21 at Adelaide’s Jubilee Pavilion and will feature Lana Del Rey, Kimbra, Band Of Skulls and Friends among others. Good times.
