Hands On Buzzers, ‘Spicks & Specks’ Is Returning To TV For One Night Only

It’s been a hot minute since they’ve graced our TV screens, but the hugely beloved gang behind Spicks & Specks is officially saddling back up and reuniting for a very special one-off event this coming November.

The ABC has today confirmed that Spicks & Specks will be returning to TV in a one-night one-hour special that will kick off the network’s annual Ausmusic Month coverage in early November.

The entire OG cast, host Adam Hills and team captains Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough, have been confirmed as starters, marking the first time the trio has joined forces on the show since the original series’ finale in 2011.

Alongside them, the respective teams will be filled out by musicians Briggs and Ricki-Lee Coulter and comedians Frank Woodley and Denise Scott.

ABC officials are promising “a fantastic line-up of Australia’s music greats, both past and present” for the show, which will feature a raft of old favourite games and live performances.

There’s no specific word on when the hour-long special will air, but expect it to hit TV screens in early November as Ausmusic Month commences.

Now if we can get Megan Washington and Katie Noonan on the show and put them in a Substitute battle to see who can make Alan draw tears the fastest, we’ll really be in business.

Dead heat there, TBH. Hooley dooley.
