The list includes film and television actors including (Tom Cruise – 9), TV personalities (Oprah – 2), models (Adriana Lima – 100), athletes (LeBron James – 15), authors (J.K. Rowling – 85), musicians (Jay-Z – 38) and comedians (Kim Kardashian – 7 BECAUSE SHE’S A JOKE) and is based on money (defined as dollars and cents) and fame (defined as media visibility in print, television, radio and online, plus social media presence on the #socialmedias).
Jenny from The Block gets her groove back at No.1, unseating previous champs Lady GaGa and Oprah, while budding venture capitalist and budding douchebag Justin Bieber enters the list at No.3 with an enviable $55 million. Unfortunately for the state of humanity, there are two Kardashians on the list (Kim at 7 and Khloe at 73). Steve Jobs impersonator Ashton Kutcher also makes his debut at 51 on the list with $24 million, a role as one of the highest paid actors on television, a pioneering attitude to social media and a leading role in the highly-publicised downfall of Demi Moore. I’d love to see some adorable British kids dissect that.
