One of the most defensible pop culture opinions out there is that the soul-crushing use of Sia’s “Breathe Me” in the series finale of HBO’s Six Feet Under is the best use of music in television ever. What this post presupposes is…it isn’t?
Perhaps, now we’ve seen this video of the singer playing herself playing a wedding singer in a 1997 episode of Home and Away in which she performs a song she had written specifically for this scene, it isn’t even the best use of a Sia song with the word “breathe” in the title.
