Last year we announced that Pedestrian Jobs had teamed up with Macleay College to launch Start Up, a “one day creative seminar featuring six amazing speakers and endless wells of career-related inspiration”. Total lie guys. There are actually eight speakers. The “endless wells of career-related inspiration” still applies though, as we’ve nabbed eight talented Aussies to talk you through their various career arcs and offer advice on how you can carve out your own. The speakers include documentary maker John Safran, media personality Kate Waterhouse, publican de jour Jaime Wirth and food blogger Fooderati as well as representatives from Australian fashion magazine Russh, Sydney based e-tailer The Grand Social and brand builders Naked Communications.
