Electro-rock duo Ratatat are releasing their fourth LP, appropriately named LP4 on 8 June, but have already dropped the percussive first single “Party With Children” along with a clip. It’s fairly minimalistic – just a white budgie doing its thing in front of a green screen. If, like many, you like a clip with a narrative then you will quickly tire of this. If, like me, you think budgies are terrifying devil spawn then this will give you nightmares.
Expect some sweet 90s electronic melodies, crazy guitar riffs and ethnically-diverse rhythms from the album.
