US rapper Post Malone has reportedly addressed concerns that he’s struggling with drug abuse issues, claiming he’s “not on drugs” and feels great.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their suspicions that Post Malone could be struggling with substance abuse issues following a recent performance. Footage that is believed to have been taken at his US show on Thursday night has gone viral online, with thousands of fans expressing concern for the 24-year-old’s health and wellbeing.

However, Post Malone reportedly addressed the drug abuse speculation at his show in Memphis on Friday night, with multiple videos surfacing online claiming to be from the event.

“I’m not on drugs and I feel the best I’ve ever fucking felt in my life. And that’s why I can bust my ass for these shows and fucking fall on the floor and do all that fun shit,” he reportedly addressed at the show in Memphis, Tennessee. “But for anybody that’s concerned here, I appreciate the love and support but I feel fucking fantastic and I’m not doing drugs.”

Post Malone (real name Austin Post) has always been open about his drug and alcohol use, but asserted to GQ earlier this month that he has given up weed following a “pot-induced anxiety attack that never completely subsided.”

Throughout the interview, Post also asserted that his days of drinking “codeine from a broken whiskey glass” are behind him and he doesn’t like to consume anything stronger than alcohol these days.

Post still drinks regularly, claiming “there was not a second of not-inebriation” on his recent tour, which involved getting “hammered” and staying up until 3pm.

Thankfully, it looks like this is all just Post’s quirky performance style. If Post Malone is telling us he’s not on drugs and is in the best shape he’s ever been in, that’s all that we can really ask for at this point.
