Pitchfork, music bible to relevant hipsters the world over, launched their new animated series Frames today. But true to form, it’s a bit more Family Guy than The Simpsons.
A series of illustrated shorts which details the inner workings of a band, the first episode of Frames goes straight for the jugular with a story about the time Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham smashed a schooner into his own head. Why did he do that? Because he doesn’t drink and apparently that’s the natural way to say ‘No thanks, I don’t drink’ when you’re in a post-hardcore band.
We can’t wait for the one on that time Dave Grohl got arrested for drink-bicycle riding in Brisbane.
