Pharrell Joins Future Music Line Up, Announces Brisbane And Perth Sideshows

Musical Svengali Pharrell Williams has announced dates for an appropriately short and sweet Australian tour in March, in addition to headlining Future Music Festival legs in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Skateboard P, an [alleged] ageless vampire who has defined the tastes and sound of every age since the dawn of man, is also nominated for seven awards at this year’s Grammys in recognition of a stellar 2013; he’s also nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song for the ebullient marathon soundtrack to Despicable Me 2, ‘Happy’.

“Australia is such a fun place for music,” Pharrell apparently said of the news. “I’ve always had amazing experiences there. Looking forward to seeing all the fans come out for Future Music Festival – can’t wait to perform and show them my gratitude.”
