It’s been quite the journey watching the Obama family flourish in The White House. We watched daughter Malia grow up and smoke some dank shiet at Lollapalooza, the other daughter Sasha supposedly having a meme-filled secret Twitter account and of course, FLOTUS Michelle Obama repping the best arms in the Northern Hemisphere.
Some of the greatest gifts of the Obama’s reign have been from the big man himself. He’s always big-upped his love of both fitness and music, and now he’s smooshed ’em together and released his workout playlist. For a 55-year-old Dad, it’s not bad – and us Aussies have even copped a mention.
That’s right, ‘Strayan singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett‘s “Elevator Operator” tune is one of Barack’s favourites, and comfortably sits among music royalty like Bey and Bob Marley:
