This new Lower Dens video for their single ‘To Die In L.A.’ ticks all the boxes – it’s sexy, chill, mildly disturbing AND it’s accompanying a great song. It’s so great, in fact, that I’m not even supposed to be working right now but I saw it and thought ‘this new Lower Dens video is a bit bloody excellent, better chuck it on the site’. And here we all are.

Like, I’m not saying watching it won’t leave you mildly confused and/or violently aroused. Because it will

The clip was directed by a talented chap called Cody Critcheloe aka SSION who had this to say of the experience: “I really connected with the song when Jana sent it to me. I’d been spending a lot of time in L.A. The song inspired me to write the treatment around my friend/muse / singer/actress/goddess Actually Huizenga. She’s this quintessential ’80s L.A. summerbabe in the video, simultaneously delusional and intelligent, dressed up in all of my current obsessions/impressions of LA as an outsider…”

New album ‘Escape From Evil is being released March 31st on Ribbon Music.
