We’ll assume it flew over the majority of their target audience (Old people? People who think Brian McFadden is likable?) but in a boost to Neighbour’s pop culture relevancy, last night’s episode contained a reference to Sydney songstress Catcall. Weird. Nothing major for Ms. Kelleher – just headlining a gig that some Ramsay Street residents wanted to attend and touch each other at. Not as earth shattering as playing The Bait Shop of course, but after nabbing track of the year and a fawning Neighbours reference – no album out – Catcall’s bucket list must be dwindling.
