Following her video for “August” the most laid back jam of last year (and as infectious as swine flu), Sydney songstress Catcall has released a video for new cut “Bad Move Baby”.
The clip, Directed by Courtney D finds Kelleher gallivanting around Sydney town whilst donning a glittered bat mask and mixing psychedelics with codeine. The song itself subscribes to the Gang Gang Dance theory of dipping basslines + hip hop beats + psyched out synths = warped pop gold (courtesy of Sydney Producer Mailer Daemon) and provides the perfect sonic foil for Catcall’s pure pop delivery. We’re gonna dub this a future club hit.
