The critically injured TV personality and music icon Molly Meldrum has started to make his slow recovery from a fall earlier this month that had him in hospital with doctors fearing for his life.
Meldrum was reported to have spoken a few words by his brother Brian, although he has stressed that they were out of context and simply telling the doctors where his pain was. “He is uttering some words, but they make no sense – but it’s good to see him talking.”Medical professionals have warned that Meldrum may take up to a full year to fully recover from his injury. Meldrum was taken off life support (and thereby critical condition) on Christmas Day.
