Moby Clip Directed By David Lynch

Meditation advocate and surrealist filmmaker David Lynch, has returned to animation for Moby’s new clip ‘Shot in The Back Of The Head’. Lynchs dark and beautifully nightmarish, troubling plot well accommodates the purely instrumental track from the forthcoming album ‘Wait for Me’. Which Moby quotes Lynch as an inspiration behind.

“I started working on the album about a year ago, and the creative impetus behind the record was hearing a David Lynch speech at bafta, in the UK, around the reminder of the freedom in creativity”.

The collaborative final product isn’t particularly mind blowing but the plot confusion and film noir did create some wack sense of loss and hysteria through its black and white graphic simplicity and teary sentimentality.

Even if it is a guy kissing a head…
