Miley Cyrus Will Headline Pop Festival In Australia This Year

Puritanical Nashville wallflower with #nofilter opinions of her ex-boyfriends, legitimate concerns for homeless people and an impressive 5 ft glitter bong, Miley Cyrus, will headline Australia’s first ever iHeartRadio Music Festival.
The singer will take a brief sabbatical from her Bangerz Tour + related duties of sliding down an effigy of her own tongue to headline the event, to be held October 18th at Allphones Arena in Sydney. The news was initially broken yesterday by Miley herself when she appeared on Kyle and Jackie O’s KIIS FM breakfast program, an official partner of the event.

Cyrus will be joined by recent Sydney glassing victim Redfoo and Sydney based DJs The Faders.

The OG iHeartRadio Music Festival is held annually in Las Vegas and this year featured Coldplay, Usher, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Iggy Azalea, Train, Paramore, Calvin Harris, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, 50 Cent and Weezer.

Tickets for the vastly inferior Australian version go on sale September 4th via ticketek.com.

It’s a party y’all.
