Listen To Architecture In Helsinki’s New Single, ‘In The Future’

Victorian legends of pop and Australia’s most lovable, colour-blocking band, Architecture in Helsinki, have today released their new song, ‘In The Future’. The vibrant 80’s energy that so defined the ecstasy of their 2011 album Moment Bends, is continued in their latest track; listen below.

Sugary, infectious and buoyant as ever, ‘In The Future’ is the first song released from the band since Moment Bends. Staples of the Australian music scene since their 2003 album Fingers Crossed, Architecture in Helsinki have carved out their own niche in dance-pop with their idiosyncratic snaps and bursts that characterise their sound: breathy, saccharine vocals everyplace, a horn to provide a striving cadence here, a series of hand percussion to settle triumphant peaks there.

Set to play this year’s Splendour in the Grass, festival goers won’t be the first to hear Architecture in Helsinki’s new material debut live. Two warm up shows, listed below, will herald the band’s much anticipated return.
