Moment Bends from Melbourne five piece Architecture In Helsinki and The Life Of Riley by Perth MC Drapht kick off proceedings with eight more nominees (seven if you count Gotye’s inevitable selection) to be announced over the following months. Tame Impala’s Innerspeaker took out the award last year.
