Kylie Minogue Embraces The Zeitgeist, Enlists Brooke Candy To Rap On Her New Album

This just in: the diminutive slashie and former JCVD paramour we are super psyched is still making pop music Kylie Minogue has enlisted the human incarnation of Tumblr in 23 year old Californian rapper and former stripper Brooke Candy to contribute a verse for a single on her new album because that’s pretty much the only thing more unexpected/weird/progressive than singing a super depressing song for a French movie that kind of made no sense

The American rapper best described as “wiggy” and best known for her starring role in pro-Karl Stefanovic electronic musician Grimes’ video for “Genesis”, took to Twitter to express her delight at being asked to contribute to Kylie’s new album.

“Also just got word that I’ll be recording a feature/verse on Kylie
Minogue’s first single off her upcoming album this wednesday in London!”
she wrote. And then, “KYLIE FUCKING MINOGUE! So fucking cool!”

The as yet untitled solo album will be Minogue’s followup to 2010’s Aphrodite and her first since signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint. Other guest contributors include in demand singer-songwriter Aussie Sia and the herpes of modern pop music, Pharrell Williams.
